Hello, I'm Alper, an Artificial Intelligence Undergrad who is interested in scientific understanding of the world around us. I have a wide variety of personal interests ranging from digital art, music, to, most importantly, data science.
My aspiration is to bring a scientific and multi-disciplinary perspective to projects I work on. In the long run, I want to be a Research Engineer or a Data Scientist.
My strongest side is my analytical and outside the box thinking. Is currently working in R&D as a part-time gig, and pursuing academic research in Prior Knowledge and Eye Tracking.
Created numerous scientific and hobby experiments on the Jupyter Lab environment. Designed and Implemented Custom versions of some classifications algorithms like Naive Bayes, kNN, and so on.
Worked with many types of data: timeseries, document corpuses, .csv, .json, and so on acroos multiple personal and academic ML and Data Science projects.
Has done many hobby projects on Arudino, including a IR distance sensor, digital counter, Digital to Analog Signal Processing for Hacettepe Student Formula 1 Team.
For me, programming is only a part of a whole. I am adept at using Python3 in Jupyter Environment. I mined, preprocessed, reformatted, data; wrote custom learning algorithm codebases for personal and professional projects. You can see my github page here: https://github.com/alperozoner
My biggest fulfillment from my career path is to be able to work with questions or problems which I would be curious to delve into, even in my own free time.
